Adjunct Instructor - Theatre

The Thiel College Department of Theatre seeks applicants for the position of Adjunct Instructor for the 2025 - 26 academic year to teach introductory level theatre courses, namely THAR 110 Theatre Appreciation in the Fall and THAR 217 Technical Theatre in the Spring. This appointment may be combined with the Technical Supervisor position as well to be paid at an hourly rate on top of the Adjunct salary

Qualified applicants should have a minimum of an MA Degree in Theatre. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach the course in-person, have practical work experience, and an MFA Degree in Technical Theatre, Lighting Design, or a closely related discipline. Commensurate professional experience may be considered in lieu of the MA/MFA.
