DescriptionQuanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician
II- 3rd Shift to join our team located in Greenville, PA.
The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
Shift hours:
Monday to Friday; 10:00pm to 6:30am
Hourly Rate: $25-$38/hr. commensurate with experience + 20% shift differential w/ possible increase after 90 Day Performance Review.

What Success Looks Like:
- Performing general maintenance of all equipment.
- Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.
- Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers.
- Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions.
- Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
- Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).
- Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed.
- knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components.
- Attend outside training and seminars for continual education.
Your Credentials:
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components experience preferred.
- Ability to pass Electrical fundamentals
