Overview

Foster Victor’s mission is to help our clients achieve their lifetime goals through holistic financial planning. The Accounting & Data Specialist will support and assist the President and Compliance Team with on-going accounting, audits and reporting. They should be well organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and tasks at the same time.

Goals

Supporting Activities
  • Coordinate tracking for financial plan agreements and payments
  • Compile Insurance policy payments & outside commission statements for reconciliation
  • Process invoices & credit card expense reconciliation
  • Complete weekly account maintenance in Orion database
  • Prepare weekly team agendas with ongoing reporting
  • Monthly account linking, tasks and maintenance in CRM
  • Firm Ticket Procurement and reimbursement
  • Maintain list of open projects and on‑going firm needs for regular review
  • Pull reports & analyze data for operational and compliance standards including:
    • ACH Report
    • PAL Funding Scrub
    • General Audit
    • Target Date Fund Audit
    • Fee Testing Audit
    • Funding IRA Scrub
    • Client Investment Considerations Review
    • Identity Theft and Red Flags Audit
    • SLOA Report Audit
    • Qualified Link Accounts Audit
    • Accounts with Annual Contribution Limit Changes
    • Third Party Account Access Review
    • PTE Audit
    • Margin, Negative Balances, & PAL Balance Report
  • Perform additional duties and adapt to changing priorities by assisting with projects or tasks outside the primary scope of this role, as needed, to support the overall success of the team and firm.

  • Deliver accurate output in a timely manner
  • Develop a follow up and task completion system so items don’t fall through the cracks
  • Proactive problem solving and collaboration
Qualifications
  • 5+ Years Accounting Experience/Exposure for listed tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools with excellent Excel capabilities.
