Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager | Global Manufacturing Organization

Dexian is partnering with a well-established global manufacturer and industry leader known for innovation, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to quality. This organization is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead accounting operations for its North American business unit and serve as a key business partner to finance leadership.

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and supervise a team of accounting professionals
• Manage billing, collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close activities
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Participate in the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and business activity reports
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Present financial recommendations and insights to senior leadership
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff
• Drive process improvements and support strategic financial initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior leadership or team management experience
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of an organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience with ERP systems (Navision experience is a plus)
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting within a multi-entity environment
