A well-established, South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm offering assurance, tax, and advisory services is seeking a career-minded Tax Senior Associate. The firm operates multiple offices across the Carolinas and maintains an alliance with a top-tier national CPA firm, giving staff access to advanced technical resources while serving both large complex clients and local small businesses. This role offers an immediate path toward growth, specialization, and partnership within the firm.
What you'll do- Manage a portfolio of clients and provide services in individual and business taxation
- Manage project deadlines and plan work with associates and senior associates
- Coordinate with team members across all phases of tax engagements
- Review individual and business tax returns, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Deliver high-level client service
- Stay current on tax law changes, accounting developments, and best practices
- Collaborate with team members on continual process improvement
- Participate in practice development and firm activities
- Develop an area of tax specialization
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years' experience in public accounting reviewing individual and business taxation
- CPA or EA in progress is a plus
