Job Summary
Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to provide project management support including project execution and pursuit development for water utilities and state and local government projects. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting project managers from project development through project completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with preparing staffing plans for project pursuits and existing projects
- Prepare updates to client relationship management tools
- Support project execution tasks
- Assist with development of scopes of services and fees
- Assist with developing project management plans
- Assist with review and submittal of project invoices
- Assist with accounts receivable and collections
- Provide subconsultant management support
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field
- Prefer 5+ years professional experience as a project coordinator or similar role
- Previous consulting or water utility experience
- Experience with critical infrastructure projects and/or experience with entities who provide or are involved with critical infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with computer software, including MS Office Suite and Project Software and Salesforce
- Experience assisting with proposal development and project execution
- Organizational skills including time management, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Experience dealing with ambiguity

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Science, or related field or related experience.
- 2+ years relevant experience

- Typical office environment with hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote
- Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
