To lead activities and assist in the daily supervision of rising K4 - 1st grade students.

• Organizes and oversees developmentally appropriate activities for K3 – K5 children, such as:
  Bible lessons, group games, crafts, snack time, lunch, nap time, and free play
• Follows proper safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of children at all times
• Performs assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques and standards with minimal supervision
• Available to work 40 hours a week

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
• Successfully complete SLED and FBI checks
• Complete a health exam including a TB test
• Capable of maintaining a positive attitude and a caring concern toward children, parents, and coworkers
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for young children
• Ability to provide guidance to young children
• Ability to move quickly
• Ability to lift children, equipment and supplies; hear and see at a distance
• Must (occasionally) lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and/or push/pull up to 40 lbs.

• DSS certification
• 15 clock hours of training annually pertaining to Growth and Development, Curriculum, and Health and Safety
• Prior experience with children preferred
• First Aid and CPR training preferred
