Position: Construction Site Estimator (Permitting Experience Required)

Site Estimator – Greater Boston, MA

Site Estimator Requirements & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction
  • Prior expertise in site estimation for rebuild or restoration projects
  • Demonstrated experience obtaining permits and working with local authorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication and customer-facing confidence
  • Ability to work independently in both office and field settings
  • Proficiency with Docu Sketch and Xactimate
Site Estimator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first on-site responder for restoration and rebuild projects
  • Perform site evaluations and develop initial scopes of work
  • Support estimating efforts for reconstruction projects
  • Secure permits and manage permitting processes with local municipalities
  • Liaise with permitting offices, auditors, and inspectors to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate and meet subcontractors at job sites
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and clear internal communication
  • Represent the organization with professionalism to clients, vendors, and partners
