Steelwater Construction, LLC., has an immediate need for an Experienced Concrete Estimator in our Concrete Division to be based out of our Easley, SC location.

The Concrete Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and bids for Commercial, Institutional and Industrial construction projects. This includes the ability to estimate excavation, footings, walls, slabs, tilt up, site, and other cast in place concrete. The Estimator analyzes project documents, performs quantity take-offs, solicits and evaluates subcontractor and vendor quotes, and collaborates with clients and internal teams to ensure estimates are technically sound and cost-effective.

• Collaborate with division manager to research and determine suitability of concrete projects.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for all concrete scopes including excavation, reinforcing, concrete, formwork, for footings, walls, slabs, tilt up, site, and other cast in place concrete.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to determine labor, material, equipment, and time requirements.
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to assess existing conditions and project requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for concrete scope of work, materials, equipment, and labor.
• Ensure subcontractor and vendor proposals fully address project specifications and scope.
