We're exclusively partnered with a growing civil infrastructure contractor seeking a personable, energetic and seasoned construction leader to oversee multiple operations and project teams across the Southeast.

This is a regional leadership role involving regular travel throughout the Southeast, including markets across the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia. Travel will typically consist of short jobsite visits, day trips and 1–2 night stays, rather than being permanently based away from home.

You’ll oversee established project teams consisting of Project Managers, Superintendents and Foremen, visiting projects to ensure teams are performing, maintaining operational standards and strengthening key client relationships.

• Oversee multiple civil, utility and infrastructure projects across the Southeast
• Make regular jobsite visits to support and assess project teams
• Lead and develop Project Managers, Superintendents and field leadership
• Drive accountability, safety, quality and operational performance
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, budgets and overall project performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and General Contractors
• Support estimating/preconstruction, budgets, takeoffs and commercial decision-making
• Help develop autonomous project teams capable of delivering without constant oversight
• Support the continued growth of the division across regional markets

Regional travel is an important part of the position and could reach approximately 50% depending on project requirements. Closer projects may involve same-day travel, while projects further afield will typically require 1–2 nights away.

Importantly, you’ll not be permanently stationed on individual projects. Each project has its own PM, Superintendent and Foremen, with the frequency of your visits determined by the needs and performance of each team.

• 15+ years of progressive construction experience
• Strong civil, utility, underground infrastructure or field operations experience
• Experience leading multiple projects and geographically dispersed teams
• Proven leadership as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Division Manager or similar
• Strong understanding of project budgets, schedules and operational performance
• Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills
• A personable, energetic leader who can coach, motivate and hold teams accountable
• Comfortable travelling regularly throughout the Southeast
• Collaborative, humble and commercially minded leadership style

Candidates from civil, utilities and infrastructure contractors are particularly encouraged, although relevant industrial, mission-critical and aviation backgrounds will also be considered.
