The Teller-CSR performs both teller transactions and deposit-account service duties, flexing between functions based on branch needs and training. A Float Teller-CSR provides the same services at multiple branches and must travel to assigned locations, sometimes with limited notice. The position delivers accurate, relationship-focused service while maintaining required documentation, controls, and confidentiality.

- Process authorized deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, negotiable instruments, cashier's checks, money orders, card-related transactions, and other teller services.
- Verify identity, signatures, endorsements, account status, available funds, negotiability, holds, and required approvals.
- Maintain and balance an assigned cash drawer and secured items; report outages, errors, suspected fraud, and unusual transactions promptly.
- Open and service authorized personal and business deposit accounts after required training and within assigned authority.
- Obtain and verify customer and beneficial-owner information and complete approved account-screening and customer-due-diligence procedures.
- Explain account features, ownership, fees, funds availability, overdraft options, electronic services, and required disclosures accurately.
- Process account maintenance, checks, debit cards, stop payments, transfers, online-banking support, safe-deposit access, and other authorized requests.
- Provide prompt, courteous service; research routine questions and coordinate follow-through across branch and support teams.
- Identify customer needs and provide accurate, needs-based information or referrals for appropriate Bank products and services.
- Support branch opening, closing, balancing, and other operations when assigned and trained.
- For Float assignments, travel among designated branches, adapt to local workflow, and maintain consistent Bank standards at each location.
- Follow applicable customer-identification, customer-due-diligence, cash-reporting, funds-availability, electronic-funds-transfer, sanctions, privacy, information-security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping procedures.
- Identify and promptly escalation unusual, suspicious, fraudulent, higher-risk, or complaint-related activity; complete assigned documentation accurately.
- Protect customer and Bank information, cash, credentials, cards, keys, documents, and other controlled items.
- Complete required training and perform other related duties consistent with the position's purpose and level of responsibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of teller, deposit-account, customer-service, or comparable financial-services experience preferred.
- Successful completion of required Teller-CSR, systems, product, security, and compliance training.
- For Float assignments, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to designated branches are required, subject to applicable law and Bank policy.
- Working knowledge of teller transactions, cash controls, deposit products, account documentation, and customer service.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, sound judgment, and problem-solving.
- Ability to shift between teller and account-service responsibilities and adapt to varying branch needs.
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; ability to learn required banking systems.
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequently stands, walks, sits, reaches, communicates with customers, and handles cash, coin, cards, and documents.
- Regularly operates teller and office equipment and reviews detailed information on computer screens.
- Occasionally moves coin, cash shipments, or supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Works in public branch environments with routine cash handling and potential exposure to robbery or security events; must follow established safety procedures.
- Schedule and work location may vary to support branch coverage, balancing, travel, and peak customer periods.
