Optometrist

Jervey Eye Group is expanding and has openings for an optometrist to join our Greenville location!

Jervey Eye Group is an Ophthalmology/Optometry practice, consisting of 21 doctors with 4 locations and is dedicated to providing our patients with their best vision possible with high quality services. Our goal at Jervey is to offer our patients the full range of specialties within one practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an optometrist to join a well established private ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on a team with ophthalmologists and optometrists and practicing full-scope optometry. Providing both medical and vision-based exams up to the full scope of licensure.

• Provide routine and medical vision care up to the full scope of licensure
• Diagnose vision problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, and eye diseases such as glaucoma
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
• Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to our physicians as needed
• Promote eye health by counseling patients, including explaining how to clean and wear contact lenses
• 4 ½ day work week
• Salary commensurate with experience, plus quarterly bonus based on optical and contact lens receipts
• Annual CME allowance of $1,500 and 3 days
• Reimbursement of annual AOA and SCOPA dues
• Reimbursement of annual S.C medical license fees
