Free-Standing Cancer Center Reason for Coverage:
Loss of provider
Call
Schedule:
No call during locum period call expected if placed perm call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
Call Ratio:
No call during locum period call expected if placed perm call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
Patient Population for Required Coverage:
Adult Geriatric What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology Oncology Internal Medicine : 65 benign hematology 35 malignant oncology 0 internal medicine
Number of Physicians in Practice: 7
How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 6
Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 25
Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL Call/Rounding: 20
Clinical Area:
Oncology - Outpatient Setting Oncology - Inpatient Setting Trauma Level/Designation Hospital: N/ADocumentation System/EMR: EPIC
Required Duties:
Participation on a Tumor Board Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants Blood Bank Orders Tests Orders Images Prescribes Administration of Chemotherapy:
Nurse Oncologist
** Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 Days
Facility reimbursement for the following costs:
Flight Hotel Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
Schedule Days, M-F 8:30a-4:30p
