Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina.
• Proven experience in oncology, including outpatient and inpatient care.
• Strong knowledge of oncology treatment protocols, chemotherapy administration, and tumor board participation.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience managing bone marrow transplants or hematology cases.
• Prior participation in tumor boards or multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Additional certifications in oncology or hematology.
• Bilingual abilities or multilingual communication skills.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Board certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in oncology.
• Previous locum or outpatient practice experience is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing process estimated to take approximately 60 days.
• Ability to work flexible scheduling, with no call during the locum period.
• Willingness to participate in tumor board discussions and manage complex cases.
• Travel reimbursement provided for flights, Hotel, rental car, or mileage at IRS standard rates.
