Position Overview

Join a progressive, value-based care organization dedicated to delivering exceptional preventive primary care for adults 65+. This innovative model allows physicians to build deeper patient relationships, spend meaningful time with each individual, and practice medicine without RVU pressure.

Physicians with Value-Based Care (VBC) experience are welcome, and those eager to learn will receive exceptional training and support.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Salary: $,000 (based on experience & location)

• Commencement Bonus: $20,+

• Annual Performance Bonus: 20% of base salary

• Total 1st Year Compensation: $300K+ (often exceeds $320K)

• Full Benefits Day 1

• Malpractice:
  Occurrence-based coverage

• Relocation Assistance:
  Provided for moves over 50 miles

Role Highlights

• Patient Population:
  Adults 65+ (Medicare Advantage, chronic disease & preventive focus)

• Daily Census: 1215 patients/day

• Visit Duration: 2040 minutes

• Integrated Care Team Includes:

  • NP/PA

  • Medical Assistants

  • Social Workers

  • Lab & Pharmacy Support

  • Referral Coordination

Training & Professional Development

3-Week Physician Learning Journey, featuring:

• Value-Based Care training

• Documentation best practices

• EMR optimization (Athena currently in transition)

• Integrated care model workflows

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Geriatric experience preferred

• HEDIS experience a plus

• Value-Based Care experience preferred but not required training is provided
