We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician to support our Medical Oncology practice, ensuring continuity of care for adult and geriatric patients in a renowned cancer center. • Provide oncology care for adult and geriatric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Support the Medical Oncology practice to ensure continuity of care and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care.
• Participate in tumor boards or related clinical discussions when applicable.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology-Oncology
• Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina
• Proven experience in outpatient and inpatient oncology settings
• Proficiency in managing adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC

• Experience with bone marrow transplant management
• Participation in tumor boards
• Knowledge of blood bank procedures and chemotherapy administration protocols
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of post-residency oncology practice experience
• Prior experience working within a multidisciplinary oncology team

• Credentialing completion within approximately 60 days
• Ability to travel to Greenville, SC, with reimbursement for flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage at IRS standard rates
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• No required call during the locum period; call responsibilities are anticipated if transitioned to a permanent role, approximately one week every 6-8 weeks
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care in outpatient and inpatient oncology settings using EPIC EMR

Hourly Rate: $19.50
