Youth Pastor

The principle function of the Youth Pastor is to serve as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to lead the youth ministry of FBC Manning.

• Must be a Christian.
• Must be called by God to ministry.
• Must have completed four years of college and/or a seminary degree.
• Must be committed to the fellowship and ministries of the church.

• Oversee the ministries and activities for 6th
  -12th grades.
• Prepare and teach the youth Sunday school class.
• Prepare and teach the Wednesday evening youth Bible study.
• Prepare and publish a youth ministry calendar to present at the Church Council.
• Plan and lead “extra” activities (may include events like: retreats, “fun” trips, etc.)
• Plan and lead the annual youth mission trip.
• Plan and execute fundraisers for the youth mission trip.
• Attend students’ extracurricular events.
• Maintain communication with the parents of FBC Manning.
• Develop and recommend a youth ministry budget.
• Attend monthly deacon’s meetings.

First Baptist Church of Manning is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, SBC congregation located in Manning, South Carolina. We are a multi-generational church committed to loving God and loving others. We are an active church family with a heart for God’s Word, worship, and missions. From children’s and youth ministries to adult Bible studies and senior adult fellowship, there are opportunities for every generation to grow in faith and service.

We offer two worship services each Sunday morning. These services include traditional worship, prayer, Scripture readings, and expository preaching. Our combined worship attendance average is 250.

We are now seeking a dedicated, Christ-honoring individual to join our ministry team as Pastor of Youth. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside our leadership, minister to our students, and help us continue to reach our community with the gospel.
