Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Division of Student Affairs comprises over 30 departments, each responsible for providing various student support, services, and educational programs accessible to the university community. Job Duties

• Provide group fitness instruction during periods when student instructors are unavailable (e.g., academic breaks, summer)
• Fill schedule gaps in the student staffing pool to ensure consistent program delivery
• Offer continuity and experienced leadership to maintain high program quality
• Supplement instruction in specialized formats or time slots difficult to staff with student employees
• Valid CPR / AED and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire
• Demonstrated competency in leading group exercise activities in land-based and aquatic environments
• NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) accredited and/or specialty (Les Mills™, Zumba®, etc) group fitness certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
