Qualifications/
Experience:
- Valid multi-categorical Special Education certification (required)
- Experience teaching in a self-contained classroom, ideally with DD/AU caseloads
- Strong classroom management and individualized lesson planning skills
- Ability to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students in a primary self-contained setting
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
