Mountain Creek Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Pastor for College and Discipleship to join our pastoral staff. MCBC is a growing church in a growing city, and is committed to biblical preaching, intentional discipleship, and the Great Commission.
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and develop our ministry to college students. Located in Greenville, SC, we currently reach students from both Furman University and North Greenville University. We are seeking someone who will build relationships with college students, teach and shepherd them, develop leaders, and help students become deeply connected to the life and mission of the local church.
This position will also help strengthen the church’s broader discipleship ministry, including small groups, classes, and other opportunities for adults to mature in Christ and become equipped to disciple others.
The ideal candidate will meet the biblical qualifications for pastoral ministry, affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000, possess strong teaching and relational skills, and have a particular calling and passion for reaching and discipling college students.
