Lucideon M+P is expanding our advanced chemistry and biocompatibility capabilities to support the rapidly growing medical device and life sciences industry. We’re seeking a Senior Scientist to lead and grow our Extractables & Leachables (E&L) and ISO 10993 chemistry programs.
In this highly visible and impactful role, you will shape our technical strategy, collaborate closely with clients, and help build new service offerings that influence patient safety and product innovation. You will work alongside experts in materials science

- Lead and expand Extractables & Leachables (E&L) and ISO 10993 biocompatibility chemistry services.
- Design, execute, and oversee advanced analytical chemistry studies, including mass spectrometry and advanced chemistry workflows (e.g., LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, IC).
- Prepare and support regulatory submissions (FDA, ISO) with high-quality data packages.
- Develop new testing methodologies, protocols, and service offerings aligned with industry needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert at technical conferences, standards committees, and working groups.
- Engage with clients to understand challenges, design study strategies, and support product development.
- Manage scientific projects, timelines, deliverables, and mentor technical staff.
- A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience in Extractables & Leachables (E&L), ISO 10993, or medical device analytical chemistry.
- Hands-on expertise with mass spectrometry and trace-level analysis.
- Strong communication skills and experience supporting client-facing scientific engagements.
- Experience leading technical programs or mentoring scientific staff.
- Familiarity with orthopedic and/or implantable device materials (preferred but not required).
- Work on high-impact medical device chemistry projects that support patient safety.
- Lead the growth of a priority technical area with strong organizational investment.
