Job Description
Insight Global is seeking experienced Gas Turbine Rotor Analysis Engineers to support critical, time-sensitive rotor-focused engineering efforts. These roles will provide analytical support to extend and advance ongoing rotor projects, with a strong emphasis on structural integrity, lifing, and fracture mechanics. Below is an overview of key responsibilities and expectations.
Responsibilities- Perform gas turbine rotor structural analysis using ANSYS (Classic)
- Execute post-processing and advanced fracture mechanics assessments
- Support rotor lifing evaluations and durability assessments
- Analyze rotor components within turbo machinery systems
- Provide analytical support to extend project timelines and maintain program momentum
- Collaborate with global supply chain and engineering teams as needed
- Support rotor-related motor design and turbo machinery analysis efforts

Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in rotor analysis or turbo machinery engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with ANSYS Classic
- Proven background in rotor design, rotor structural analysis, or lifing
- Experience with gas turbines, motors, or rotating machinery
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal learning curve
- Prior experience in turbo machinery environments
- Familiarity with Siesta or similar rotor lifing tools
- Previous work supporting long-term rotor programs or life‑extension efforts
