Position Overview

HRP Associates, Inc. is an employee‑first environmental consulting firm known for its strong culture, technical excellence, and commitment to helping clients move their environment forward. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist Project Manager to join our Greenville, SC office and support our growing Site Investigation and Remediation practice. The successful candidate will have project management experience for a range of environmental projects, knowledge of hazardous materials, groundwater, soil, and soil vapor investigation & remediation.

Preference will be for a candidate licensed for asbestos and lead‑based paint consulting. A Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management and leadership for field staff and collaboration
  • Budget, coordinate and conduct groundwater, soil, and soil vapor investigations
  • Budget, coordinate and conduct inspections and abatement projects for asbestos, mold, lead‑based paint
  • Assist with design, implementation, and optimization of remediation systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver high‑quality environmental solutions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Due diligence reporting and quality control
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology, environmental science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience
  • Demonstrated experience with site investigation and remediation
  • Strong field skills and proficiency in groundwater and soil investigation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hazardous materials experience for asbestos, lead‑based paint, mold
  • PG or PE license preferred (not required)
  • Ability to travel locally for field assignments and work outdoors as needed
