A Mechanical Engineer specializing in Piping & Utilities Systems designs, analyzes, and implements piping systems and utility infrastructure for various facilities, including industrial plants, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects. They are responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of these systems, which can include heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, compressed air, and process piping.
Opportunity for an experienced Piping & Utilities Engineer to prepare and manage design packages for industrial manufacturing clients. This key role requires expertise with industrial process piping systems, to include studies, calculations, stress analysis, equipment specs, and subcontractor bid reviews.
QualificationsEXPERIENCE
BSME and active PE registration is required, as well as 15+ years of relevant design experience. Familiarity with jacketed piping, hot oil systems, and B31.3 code is desired. Experience with CAESAR II and AutoCAD is preferred. Candidates must have professional presentation and communication skills, and the ability to develop client relationships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading teams in a multidiscipline design environment, as well as supporting construction and field operations as required.
