Job OverviewAs a Design Liaison Engineer, you will partner with our Global Supply Chain and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements and manage hardware non-conformances. Your work will ensure optimal quality for our customers while supporting design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering. You will also contribute to hardware qualifications for new processes and process changes, leveraging your knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to enhance part function, reduce costs, and add value.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, materials, and coatings.
- Familiarity with Ansys, NX, and other analytical tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional global organization.
- Gas Turbine engineering experience, specifically Hot Section components.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control.
- Background in HGP components, including NX, GD&T, ANSYS Classic.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing processes.
- Customer satisfaction mindset with strong quality orientation.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to challenge the status quo.
