Sr. Process Engineer
We are seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to join our team supporting Fluor on their Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project! This position is full-time and will be based out of Greenville, SC.
Responsibilities- Conduct construction document reviews as required.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
- Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&) development.
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.
- Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.
- Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience (nuclear preferred).
- Citizenship – To be considered, you MUST be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
- B.S. degree MUST be in Chemical Engineering
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
- Experience with design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
- Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
- Professional Engineer License preferred.
