Job Description
Interprets, recommends, and complies with environmental, health and safety regulations; manages the site’s DOD 4145 Contractor Explosive Program; ensures DMCA 8201 Contractor Safety requirements and company policies are maintained; and assists in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet new environmental requirements.
Develops, evaluates, and prepares contracts for licensed hazardous waste disposal firms; ensures proper waste handling and disposal; writes and updates environmental and spill‑control manuals and procedures; prepares environmental program reports and assists with permits, reporting, renewals, inspections and audits; supports site Hazardous Materials, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety programs and provides input to federal and state regulators through trade associations and industry groups for the writing and revision of regulations.

Basic Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of ESH experience
- Experience in ESH Programs such as Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Wastes, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Machine Guarding, and/or Electrical Safety
- DOD 4145 – DOD Contractor’s Safety Manual for Ammunition and Explosives
- DCMA 8210 – Defense Contract Management Agency
- DOD 4145 Trained / Certification
- Hazardous Materials – DOT / RCRA trained
- Laser Safety Officer Certification
- Radiation Safety Officer Certification
