Position Overview
You will be the Production Flight line APG, F-16 Technician Level 3 for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. Our team is responsible for flightline maintenance and delivery of F-16 aircraft to our customers.
ScheduleThurs‑Sun 4×10 D weekend schedule, first shift 5:30 a.m.–4 p.m.
Responsibilities- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and modify aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Maintain knowledge in aircraft systems operation and maintenance, including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling/defueling, and aircraft movement/launch & recovery.
- Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Use hands to grasp, handle, feel, reach, talk, and hear as required.
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
- Frequently lift or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Work in a safe, efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD‑free work area.
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals per government regulations.
- Perform mission‑essential functions and other duties as required.
- Eight or more years of related aircraft production, overhaul, or modification experience on various aircraft systems.
- At least four years of legacy fighter flightline experience or closely related flightline experience.
- Experience with aircraft ground handling and test equipment.
- Military flightline experience (F‑16 preferred).
- USAF Level 5 or Level 7 Craftsman or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the maintenance process and proper documentation.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and navigate technical data and engineering instructions.
- Hydrazine response team experience.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Previous engine run experience.
This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Clearance Level: Secret.
