If you have a deep understanding of diesel fuel injectors and want to see your work make a tangible difference, this role puts you at the heart of product quality for a leading automotive supplier. You will own the application engineering for fuel injection products that go into vehicles around the world. The company is a trusted Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier, known for delivering reliable components to major automakers.

This is a direct-hire, on-site position based in Greenville, South Carolina, offering a salary of $95,000 to $125,000 plus a 7% bonus and paid relocation.

Your daily work will involve investigating test failures, flow audits, and field performance issues for Port Fuel Injection and diesel injector systems. You will lead root cause analyses to stop problems at the source and improve manufacturing processes. Your technical reports and engineering updates will guide decisions across quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. When a fuel injector doesn't perform as expected, you are the person who figures out why and ensures it gets fixed.

The reliability of these components directly affects engine performance and customer satisfaction, so your expertise has a direct business impact.

To thrive in this role, you need at least five years of application engineering experience with diesel Common Rail injectors, plus proficiency in Solid Works and GD&T. You should be comfortable owning projects from investigation to resolution and communicating technical details to non-engineers. An engineering degree is required, and a collaborative, hands-on approach will serve you well. You are someone who doesn't just identify problems—you chase them down until they are solved.

This is more than just another engineering job. You will join a company where your contributions are visible and your technical decisions shape product quality. The compensation is competitive, the relocation support is real, and the opportunities to grow your career in a stable, growing industry are outstanding.
