Mechanical Design Engineer

$50-$52 per hour

• The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for providing design liaison engineering (DLE) support to client manufacturing. This will be specifically centered on rotor & unit assembly areas.

• Review, evaluate, & define solutions to manufacturing issues as they arise. The evaluation piece of this work will require analysis through hand calculations, CAD, FEA, &/or other internal tools used to evaluate deviant hardware.
• Will support DLE initiatives to drive defect reduction through improved engineering defintion & improved manufacturing processes.
• This scope of work can require support in revising engineering specifications & drawings. Conduct technical reviews to substantiate rework &/or acceptance critiera.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
