Mechanical Design Engineer II
Location:
Greenville, SC 29615 Duration: 12+ Months Pay rate range: $50.00 - $54.00/hour on W2.
Job Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for providing design liaison engineering (DLE) support to GVL manufacturing. This will be specifically centered on rotor & unit assembly areas.
Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, & define solutions to manufacturing issues as they arise.
- The evaluation piece of this work will require analysis through hand calculations, CAD, FEA, &/or other internal tools used to evaluate deviant hardware.
- Will support DLE initiatives to drive defect reduction through improved engineering definition & improved manufacturing processes.
- This scope of work can require support in revising engineering specifications & drawings. Conduct technical reviews to substantiate rework &/or acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
