Job Responsibilities
Performs initial site reviews and associated reports for encroachment permits. Reviews, inspects, and recommends moderate-level encroachment permits for final acceptance. Meets with site contractors (or their representatives) to resolve matters involving encroachment permits. Prepares correspondence for permits including closeout letters, revision letters, and notices of non-compliant permit activities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsA high school diploma and one (1) year of experience that is related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence. The physical demands for the essential functions involves frequent bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs. Walking for extended periods, treading rough terrain, working in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards. May require occasional exposure to noise.
May require working outside of normal work schedules and weekends.
