Senior Structural Engineer

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Metromont Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative precast concrete solutions for buildings and structures. You will leverage your expertise in structural engineering to design, analyze, and oversee the construction of precast concrete components and systems, ensuring they meet both customer specifications and industry standards. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, problem-solving in a dynamic environment, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Designing and analyzing precast concrete structures using advanced engineering techniques.
• Providing technical guidance and oversight during the production and installation phases of construction projects.
• Collaborating with project managers and design teams to develop structural plans that optimize safety, cost, and construction feasibility.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulatory requirements during the design and construction processes.
• Performing structural inspections and preparing reports documenting the condition of structural components and their compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Leading and mentoring junior engineers and support staff.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, or similar.
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing precast, prestressed concrete structures.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and safety standards.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex engineering plans and drawings.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
