Our client, a global leader in advanced energy and industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering and Manufacturing Operations organization supporting repair engineering, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a quality-focused mindset, and excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
  • Manage repair qualifications for critical industrial and turbine-related components while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues through engineering analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support Built-In-Quality (BIQ) initiatives to improve operational performance and product reliability.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to drive successful repair solutions.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and efficiency.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, repair, or industrial operations environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced engineering environment.
