Electrical Engineer

• Designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components utilizing Auto-CAD & E-CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
• Performing engineering tasks with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), troubleshooting, and optimizing circuits, controllers, and various electronic components to enhance performance and reliability.
• Designing regulatory cases according to FDA standards and ensuring the electrical functionality of these cases.
• Developing and executing comprehensive strategies for various electrical systems and equipment.
• Reviewing and adjusting electrical drawings in Electrical CAD.
• Developed custom electrical designs for commercial projects, ensuring cost reduction while meeting customer requirements.
• Created 2D drawings for in-house production including stainless steel, and millwork using AutoCAD.
• Produced technical drawings for customer approvals and manufacturing, ensuring quality requirements for FDA standards.
• Actively participated in project kick-off and team meetings to discuss goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Utilized AutoCAD for detailed production and manufacturing shop drawings, ensuring precision and quality.
• Generated and revised Bill of Materials (BOM) for production drawings, ensuring accurate assembly quantities based on product conditions. Generating and modifying the hardware required for the cases and customizing to meet the customer requirements.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and project management, to ensure all technical requirements were met.
• Monitored projects from design to production, ensuring quality and on-time delivery while working closely with the Director of Design, supervisors, and project managers.
• Designed and developed detailed electrical designs for new product developments in commercial projects, showcasing initial product concepts to customers.
• Employed computer-assisted design/drafting tools (AutoCAD) to produce high-quality drawings for customer approvals and production.
• Created “As Built” production drawings based on field conditions and revised drawings during the production process.
• Verified dimensions, materials, and part relationships in final sketches to ensure comprehensive understanding and efficient time management for in-house production.
• Verified and maintained the electrical design, assembly of the circuit for proper functioning of the equipment, constantly updating and upgrading the designs to accommodate and incorporate latest technologies and smart systems for future use.
