Job Description Summary

GE Vernova is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Blade Components team. This is an ideal role for an emerging engineer looking to build a foundation in the wind energy industry while contributing to our next generation of wind turbine technology. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineering leaders to support the design, analysis, and evaluation of critical blade components, ensuring that every project adheres to our core commitment of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

You will gain hands‑on experience bridging the gap between theoretical design and shop‑floor reality, helping to develop components that are both structurally robust and optimized for manufacturing. Throughout your daily work, you will have the opportunity to participate in the full product lifecycle—from assisting in the resolution of field quality issues and developing repair solutions to supporting New Technology Introduction (NTI) initiatives.

Beyond your technical contributions, you will learn to collaborate across functions, working alongside Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to understand how engineering requirements drive our overall strategy.
