This position reports to Manager, Treasury and is responsible for ensuring timely process validation, return / chargeback processing, problem resolution and defect research as it relates to the company’s payment and funding processes. This position supports operations in banking related and armored car issues. The Treasury Analyst will work to manage all operating bank relationships and functions, complete bank documentation and MSB requirements in a timely fashion.
The Treasury Analyst is responsible for staying up to date with modern banking practices and offering suggestions to management for product and process improvements. They will be responsible for monitoring and reporting payment and funding trends to management on a daily or monthly basis. The Treasury Analyst also will support management with vendor management, invoicing, and monthly bank fee analysis.
- Manages daily files to/from processors to identify errors and take corrective action to any issues identified.
- Manages company's process of returned items, including updating reports and identifying trends.
- Dispute payment chargebacks, work with processors / banks to research trends and question oddities in any processing errors identified.
- Review daily activity to help mitigate or identify fraud / defects.
- Attend triage as needed and work to define / solve department process defects and enhancements.
- Work as point of contact for centers / vendors related to Armored Car issues, identify and dispute any billing errors related to service and manage setup.
- Prepare materials that accurately report progress, status, or summaries for internal and external personnel.
- Be able to identify and analyze activity trends to identify root causes, evaluate optimal solutions, and recommend comprehensive upgrades to prevent future issues.
- Manage operating bank relationships and provide support to company bank representatives accommodating paperwork or MSB documentation.
- Record and analyze company bank fees and Treasury controllable cost.
- Review cost saving processes and develop strategies to reduce spending (center activity, MICR, etc.)
- Manage Treasury supplies (invoicing, place orders, confirm shipments, etc.)
- Keep department HUB page up to date and facilitate department communications.
- Monitor department telephone line / email to ensure 24 hr. response to reported issues.

College degree in business field or equivalent experience.
Experience RequiredThree to five years operational or banking experience preferred.
Knowledge RequiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.
Understanding both Visa and NACHA operating rules, ability to identify and mitigate financial risks, and collaborating with other departments and/or leadership is crucial to the position.
