Mortgage Regional Sales Manager

• Establish production goals and strategy for Mortgage Loan Officers
• Determine the team’s annual goals and reevaluate them monthly and quarterly
• Drive sales productivity and profitability by working closely with Mortgage Loan Officers
• Recruit, train, build, and retain a high-performance team
• Help team members achieve established Sales Productivity goals
• Motivate and reward mortgage consultants through sales calls and joint sales calls/ventures
• Ensure teams follow policies and procedures and that loans meet United Community Bank, regulatory, and investor requirements
• Determine cross-sell goals annually and reevaluate them monthly and quarterly
• Manage expenses, revenue generation, and profit and loss statements
• Lead regional sales and product training
• Ensure Mortgage Loan Officers maintain best-in-class customer service levels
• Partner with the Bank to meet mortgage and cross-sell goals
• Partner with Fulfillment/Operations to ensure efficient customer-driven production, fulfillment/operations, pricing, and delivery
• Coach, develop, and manage employee performance

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 years’ management experience or proven leadership of 12-20 team members
• 3 years’ experience working in a Bank regulated environment preferred
• 3 years’ experience in residential mortgage sales originations
• 3 years’ experience in mortgage originations operations with knowledge of loan underwriting, processing and closing functions
• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA programs and underwriting guidelines
• Knowledge of other conventional investors, state/local bond programs and private mortgage insurers
• Experience in mortgage retail sales
• Experience with net operating income and budgets
• Experience with marketing, strategy and plans in a retail sales environment
• Ability to coach and provide feedback to team
• Ability to make day-to-day business decisions outside of written policy
• Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Customer service oriented
• Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check
• NMLS # initial registration and annual renewal is required, including fingerprinting and background checks
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Up to 25% travel required

Demonstrates expertise in mortgage loan origination, team leadership, and sales strategy development. Proven ability to drive productivity, manage compliance, and enhance customer service in a banking environment.
