Corporate Tax Manager

The Corporate Tax Manager is responsible for tax accounting & compliance, tax research, planning, audits and other tax related projects. This position will also regularly analyze corporate activities and ensure proper tax treatment of business related issues.

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings.
• Prepare federal and state estimated income tax payments and extensions.
• Research and analyze federal, state, and local tax issues, keeping record and documentation in order to communicate conclusions with management and other business partners.
• Track compliance to ensure all tax returns, estimates, and extensions are filed in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Assist with tax related audits, inquiries and information requests.
• Recognize opportunities to improve tax processes and procedures and initiate changes.
• Review tax fixed asset depreciation reports.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of potential tax planning opportunities and/or advocacy positions
• Continually review and maintain a working knowledge of tax laws, regulations, rulings and court decisions.
• Evaluate tax implications of business initiatives and any new tax legislation and inform appropriate internal parties as necessary.
• Craft and maintain internal control processes and documentation.
• Manage and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field required
• CPA required
• Demonstrated internal and external taxation reporting experience preferred
• Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access
