Title: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist)

Location: Greenville, SC

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Function as a CVOR Tech in a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room.
  • Provide first scrub support for complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Assist surgical team during procedures including CABG, mitral valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, pericardial window, VAD placement, ECMO, atherectomy, and other cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Support advanced procedures such as angioplasty/stenting*, EVAR*, and TAVR*.
  • Maintain sterile field, prepare instruments, and anticipate surgeon needs during procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation: minimum two call days per week and 1–2 weekends per 6-week schedule.
  • Minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract.
  • Float to other qualified units as needed based on census.
  • Complete required pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receipt.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience.
  • Level I Trauma experience required.
  • Travel experience required.
  • CST certification required.
  • NBSTSA certification required.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • First scrub experience required (FA certification not required).
  • Experience in CVOR and cardiovascular surgical settings.
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
