Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Prosthetic Orthotist (CPO) to join our Greenville, SC team. This full-time position is perfect for a licensed prosthetist/orthotist who is passionate about enhancing patient mobility and independence. The role focuses on evaluating, designing, fitting, and adjusting custom prosthetic and orthotic devices while collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff. Candidates must hold current licensure and certification and be committed to delivering individualized, high-quality treatment.
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop tailored prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans in Greenville, SC.
- Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices to meet each patient s unique needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other clinical team members to ensure optimal care outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, maintenance, and safety of devices.
- Track patient progress and make modifications as needed to enhance functionality and mobility.
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Uphold ethical standards and deliver patient-focused care in all interactions.
- Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist in South Carolina or eligible for licensure.
- Certification through ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics) or BOC (Board of Certification/Orthotics & Prosthetics).
- Prior clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred.
- Strong communication, patient education, and clinical decision-making skills.
