Location: St. Francis Downtown, Greenville, SC

As a Surgical Assistant on our Cardiac Team, you'll be instrumental in life‑saving cardiac procedures. Your role goes beyond support; you're an essential partner at the surgical table, working hand-in-hand with our skilled cardiovascular surgeons. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring successful outcomes for our patients.

• Serve as a Surgical Assistant in cardiac cases.
• Prepare surgical suites with necessary equipment tailored to each patient.
• Provide crucial exposure and retraction, ensuring the protection of delicate anatomy.

• Experience: Open heart surgery and vein harvesting experience are highly valued; minimum of 2 years in an Operating Room, with a preference for cardiovascular OR experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Surgical Assistant Program.
• Certification: Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) through NBSTSA, NSAA, or NCCSA, and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain). Will also talk with and accept RNFA.
