The HR Coordinators are the primary point of contact for a select group of clients and their employees. Clients are at the heart of our business and as such, building these relationships are critical to our success and theirs. Empathy, curiosity, and a highly organized skillset are required for this fast‑paced role. In addition, knowing when to prioritize clients’ needs and problem solving to exceed our clients’ expectations.
Must have the ability to use good judgement and to escape HR related issues to the necessary person(s) on the Leadership Team. Must have the ability to respond to all clients within 2 hours.
- Administer Pre‑Employment and Onboarding Process.
- Administer I‑9 and E‑Verify for select clients.
- Administer Employee Leave of Absence Process & Tracking (including FMLA, Non‑FMLA, WC, ADA, EEO).
- Administer and coordinate Employee Handbook changes. Escalate to VP of HR as needed.
- Administer all employee payroll changes for the employees (address change, direct deposit change, benefit changes, phone numbers & email address changes, etc.) as well as terminations.
- Administer time and attendance issues as they arise.
- Keep accurate records of assigned client’s Workflow, Internal Processing Guide, and Client Contact Master.
- Collect tax notices and aid in communicating resolution to the clients.
- Complete yearly online OSHA filing and distribute OSHA 300 logs to assigned clients.
- Guide Year End processing for assigned clients.
- Partner with leadership to provide clients with expert guidance on best practices for managing sensitive employee relations matters.
- Create client specific training sessions as needed.
- Regularly update and maintain the project management tool to ensure accurate tracking of tasks, timelines, and progress for all stakeholders.
- Promptly address and resolve client inquiries and day‑to‑day needs, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Answer all employee benefit questions.
- Process all Qualifying Life Events (QLE).
- Create client specific reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a team player, a quick learner, and have a positive attitude.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain organization.
- Must possess exceptional computer proficiency in software applications and web‑based systems.
- Ability to interchange between multiple databases, HR Systems, and applications.
- Must be confident and comfortable in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent customer service and ability to empathize.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven track record of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven ability to analyze complex challenges then develop and implement solutions under tight deadlines.
- Must be self‑motivated and thrive in a remote environment.
- Occasionally required to drive to and from client sites for meetings.
- Required to travel to Greenville, SC once per month to attend team meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
