POSITION SUMMARY:The Scoreboard Operator is responsible for keeping score at society games on campus.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Show up 10 minutes before the start of the assigned game
- Communicate with referees
- Remain attentive and keep score and time during games
- Cannot be on a phone, laptop or other device unless between sets or during half-time
- Communicate any technical or logistical issues with the supervisor
- Return the scoreboard console to ECOR at the conclusion of the last game
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
- Communication Skills
- Punctuality
- Basic knowledge of athletics
- Must (occasionally) lift/carry and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs.
