Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. With more than 110 attorneys, we encompass a broad spectrum of transactional and litigation practice areas for large corporations, small businesses, and governmental entities.
We currently have an opening at one of our South Carolina offices (Greenville or Charleston) for a Paralegal on the Insurance Defense team. The ideal candidate would have insurance defense litigation paralegal experience for a minimum of 3 years.
Specific duties include:- issuing subpoenas
- scheduling depositions and mediations
- analyzing medical records
- drafting medical chronologies
- preparing discovery requests
- communicating with experts
- interacting with insured clients and insurance adjusters
- trial preparation and heavy scheduling
The ideal candidate will be motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, and must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills required, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to handle a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.
