Workers' Paralegal

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join a Defense Law Firm in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience working in workers' compensation from the defense or plaintiff side. This Firm offers excellent benefits, 401K and a hybrid working schedule.

• Oversee workers’ compensation attorneys’ calendars and manage scheduling order deadlines.
• Conduct research, data entry, maintain case files, and complete other ad-hoc requests, as needed.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and take proper precautions to protect information electronically and physically.
• Strong technological skills to include: research using internet and legal search systems, ability to electronically organize and manipulate documents; ability to effectively manage calendars; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to professionally, and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Thorough knowledge of legal principles, research techniques, legal terminology, and medical terminology.

• Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in a workers’ compensation law firm (plaintiff or defense).
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
