POSITION SUMMARY: General building maintenance in men's residence halls. This GA position is available to those pursuing post-graduate studies at Bob Jones University.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to follow instructions completely
• Perform simple maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, dorm furniture, etc.
• Assist with pest control as instructed
• Help train and lead a small student crew

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Basic knowledge of using hand tools
• Good attitude
• Willing to learn
• Clean, well-groomed appearance
• Courteous communication with the students and fellow workers
• Discernment to contact supervisor concerning transfer of work demanding time/skill beyond the scope of this department
• Occasionally lift/carry over 100 pounds
• Occasionally push/pull 40-100 pounds
• Must be enrolled in post-graduate studies at BJU
