Assistant Engineer - Facilities in Greenville

Support the engineering team across electrical, gasification, HVAC, and water treatment systems — an excellent entry point for engineers ready to grow within solar manufacturing facility operations.

• Assist senior engineers with preventive maintenance planning and execution across all facility systems
• Support fault diagnosis and repair activities on electrical, gas, HVAC, and water treatment equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, technical documentation, and work orders
• Assist in reading and interpreting schematics, P&IDs, and CAD drawings
• Help enforce safety procedures and hazardous-material handling protocols
• Respond to maintenance requests and support emergency repairs as needed

• Associate's degree or higher in an engineering-related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• 1+ year of experience in industrial facility maintenance or a related trade
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or chemical systems
• Willingness to learn PLC, SCADA, or building control systems
• Strong attention to detail and documentation habits

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and move throughout the production and utility areas for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights or in confined spaces with proper PPE
• Ability to wear required PPE, including cleanroom garments and chemical/electrical protective gear, for extended periods
• Manual dexterity for tool use and equipment assembly/repair
• Ability to respond quickly to maintenance calls across the facility
