We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs. This role requires hands-on expertise in conducting repairs and renovations, with a focus on maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct repairs and renovations as needed, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and generators.
  • Coordinate unit turns efficiently to prepare living spaces for new residents.
  • Ensure compliance with life safety codes and regulations.
  • Prepare for and support surveys and inspections, maintaining readiness at all times.
  • Develop and implement emergency planning procedures to ensure resident and staff safety.
  • Collaborate with senior living healthcare teams to support facility operations (senior living healthcare experience preferred).
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and generators.
  • Knowledge of life safety codes and emergency planning.
  • Experience with unit turns and facility renovations.
  • Senior living healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prepare for and manage survey readiness.
