We are partnering with a well-established global industrial mechatronics organization with a strong international presence in their search for a key sales leadership role.
The Regional Division Director for the Americas will report to the Global Head of Sales & Service Operations and lead a cross-country sales organization. This position is responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth across equipment, software, and service offerings, with approximately 30% travel.
In this role, you will design and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with divisional objectives, owning revenue and profitability performance against budget targets. You will build and lead a high-performing, commercially disciplined team while ensuring operational excellence, team effectiveness, and consistent execution of the company’s value proposition across supported business verticals.

RESPONSIBILITIES Operative Leadership- Own and deliver regional revenue, margin, and P&L performance in alignment with divisional financial objectives.
- Partner with divisional leadership to translate global strategy into regional execution and measurable commercial results.
- Ensure continuous improvement of sales teams (internal/external teams) execution through monitoring of sales professionalism, effectiveness and quality
- Be accountable for compliance of commercial deals and delegation of authority
- Be accountable for the operational excellence execution deployed with the Global Sales and Service teams
- Ensure timely and reliable analysis to support the divisional reporting system
- Act as the regional voice to global leadership, ensuring market insights and priorities are represented in strategic decision-making.
- Lead, develop and coach the regional management team to accomplish the commercial performance expected and develop the organization, incl. the recruitment, performance, talent and succession management (hiring strategy, performance and development reviews, succession planning activities)
- Ensure regional team motivation and continuous competences development to enable sales qualification and group target behaviors
- Provide guidance and support to strengthen local sales network. Ensure management and accuracy of sales tools (e.g. CRM etc.)
- Participate in global sales & service community activities and contribute to divisional priorities
- Ensure short and long-term business development and customer portfolio segmentation are in line with the divisional strategy
- Ensure customer proximity; attend and represent the company to commercial events
- Monitor customers & competitors’ products, sales and marketing activities, as well as market trends
- Contribute to business and product development by liaising with the relevant Central Marketing and R&D functions to raise outcome and ensure brand consistency
- Participate in any relevant management meetings, training, workshops etc.
- Organize & facilitate specific regional meetings (upon need)
- Experience managing a profit center or carrying clear P&L responsibility
- Strong track record of driving sustainable sales growth, especially through channel partnerships
- Master or graduate degree in management, technical or engineering preferred
- Multiple-years sales experience in the field of advanced manufacturing, robotics, or mechatronics
- Knowledge of global and national market dynamics. Experience working with European stakeholders and comfort operating in a matrixed environment is required.
- Previous experience in managing a Sales team
- Financial expertise to drive budget, P&L and to dialogue with the finance team
- Be familiar with Operating Systems (SAP) and Customer Management Systems (CRM)
- Readiness and availability for international business trips
